5 Songs That Changed My Life: Wrap Up

Some songs stay.

Not because they’re the most difficult to play, or the most impressive to perform — but because they mark a shift. A beginning. A return. A quiet realization that something has changed.

Over time, I wrote five individual posts about songs that shaped my relationship with music — not all at once, and not intentionally as a set. Only later did I realize they belonged together.

Each song represents a different doorway:
into confidence, into presence, into joy, into tenderness, into commitment.

This page is a home for all five.

You don’t need to read them in order.
You don’t need to listen to every recording.
You’re welcome to linger wherever you like.

These songs didn’t change my life because I played them well.

They changed my life because I stayed with them — long enough to listen differently, practice honestly, and let music be a place I could return to myself.

If you’ve been following along, thank you.
If you’re just arriving, welcome.

Thanks for joining me on this journey.
